Selecting the right Hinge
It is important when specifying hinges for use on your particular project or application that the correct hinge is specified. Cooke Brothers have developed a Product Selection Guide that aims to give the Architect or Specifier as much information as we can on our various product ranges, it also answers some of the questions that might be asked when determining which hinge should be fitted.

- Check the effect of a door closer
- Measure the door dimensions - is it oversize?

Ensure the Hinge specified meets the performance criteria of either the customer or building regulations - obtain copies of all certification to be sure.

Select additional Features |
These include fixed or lift off variants, fixing hole patterns, hinge widths and square or Radiused corners - these are all standard options on many of our hinge ranges.
